Delete your CoachSynQ account

This page explains how to request permanent deletion of your CoachSynQ account (published by Samurai Dog Software) and what happens to your data afterwards. Deletion applies to both the Coach SynQ iOS and Android apps and the CoachSynQ website — they all share the same account.

How to delete your account

Choose any one of the options below. You do not need to use more than one.

Option 1 — In the Coach SynQ mobile app (fastest)

  1. Open the Coach SynQ app on your iPhone or Android device.
  2. Sign in with the account you want to delete.
  3. Tap Profile in the bottom navigation bar.
  4. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
  5. Read the confirmation dialog, then tap Delete to confirm.

Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out on every device.

Option 2 — On the CoachSynQ website

  1. Go to https://coachsynq.com and sign in.
  2. Parents: open Profile → Permanent deletion and follow the confirmation prompt.
  3. Coaches: open Policies → Permanent deletion and follow the confirmation prompt.

Option 3 — By email (no app or sign-in required)

  1. Send an email to info@coachsynq.com from the email address on your account.
  2. Use the subject line Delete my CoachSynQ account.
  3. In the body, state that you want your account and associated data permanently deleted.
  4. We will verify the request and complete deletion within 30 days. You will receive an email confirmation when it is done.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data is removed or permanently de-identified:

  • Your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and password.
  • Your profile photo, headline, bio, experience, certifications, and coach policies.
  • Player profiles you created (parent accounts) — including player names, dates of birth, notes, registration answers, and headshots.
  • Private in-app messages you sent or received.
  • Your session bookings, camp join requests, saved locations, discount codes you created, and marketplace listings.
  • Your push-notification tokens (APNs for iOS, Firebase Cloud Messaging for Android). You stop receiving notifications immediately.
  • Your public coach profile (if any) — it no longer appears in search, the marketplace, or any coach client list.

What is kept, and for how long

For legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and dispute-resolution purposes we retain a minimal, de-identified record of the following. These records cannot be used to sign in or contact you, and they do not appear anywhere in the app or on the website.

  • Payment and payout records (amounts, dates, last four digits of the card, Stripe confirmation IDs) — retained for up to 7 years to comply with U.S. tax and financial-record-keeping laws.
  • Booking and camp-enrollment history (dates, session type, amount paid, refunds) — retained for up to 7 years for accounting and dispute resolution.
  • Server security and fraud-prevention logs (IP address, rough device info, sign-in events) — retained for up to 12 months.
  • Backups — deleted data may persist in encrypted, access-restricted backups for up to 90 days before being overwritten in the normal backup-rotation cycle.

After these retention periods, the associated records are permanently deleted or further de-identified.

Can I cancel or reverse deletion?

No. Account deletion is permanent. If you want to use CoachSynQ again after deleting your account, you will need to sign up for a new account.

Uninstalling the app is not the same as deleting your account

Removing the Coach SynQ app from your phone does not delete your CoachSynQ account or any of the data stored on our servers. To have your data deleted, use one of the three options above.

Children’s data

Children do not create their own accounts on CoachSynQ. Player profiles entered by a parent are deleted along with the parent’s account. A parent may also delete an individual player profile at any time from the player screen in the app or on the website without deleting their own account.
